Voice of Soul is a non-profit organisation of public benefit. Its operation is based on a democratic statutes. The highest rank decision making body is the General Assembly (GA). GA is convened at least twice a year. Between the Assemblies an elected board is responsible for running the organisation. The board consists of seven members each are (ex-)users of mental health services. The operation of the NGO is supervised by a Control Committee elected by the GA and independent of the executive board.
