An organic chemist, as well as a sociological and psychological engineer for the workplace and organisations. Received his degree in economic science. Manager of cultural enterprises.
1984-90 Director of the Center for Cultural Action, Montbéliard. 1990, Director of the International Center of Création Video, Montbéliard-Belfort. Expert on cultural production for the European Commission. Expert for various international festivals and professional markets on the electronic arts, new technologies, image and sound, and communications in artistic, pedagogic and cultural production. Teacher trainer for continued education at the CICV.

Installed in Hérimoncourt (Doubs) since 1990, the International Center of Création Video (CICV) - Pierre Schaeffer Center Montbéliard Belfort is a laboratory for research and experimentation focusing on the effects of numeric technologies on contemporary artistic creation and cultural practice.
The activity of CICV is constructed around four axes:
the reception of creative artists in residence; professional training; the production of artistic works and cultural events; and expertise and advice.
