TORNAI Szabolcs 1971-ben született Budapesten. 1997-ben végzett az ELTE angol szakán. 1998 óta dolgozik mûfordítóként és kontrollszerkesztõként az Osiris Kiadóban. 1995-ben jelent meg William Burroughs: A narkós (Junky) c. regényének fordítása (Lord Kiadó). Burroughs A vörös éjszaka városai (The Cities of the Red Night) címû regényét a JAK Világirodalmi sorozat adja ki 1999-ben.

TORNAI Szabolcs was born in Budapest in 1971. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University with an MA degree in English in 1997. He has been working as a translator and editor at Osiris Publishing House for a year. His translation of Junky by Burroughs was published by Lord Publishing House in Budapest in 1995 and The Cities of the Red Night by the same author will be published by JAK World Literature Series this year.
