This example is from the book of A.L.Yarbus (Eye Movements and Vision, Plenum, New York, 1967). While the subject looked at Rjepin’s picture "Unexpected Visitor", his eye movement was being registered. The subject had to answer different questions while his/her eyes were surveying the picture. The subject studied different details closely, and hardly any similarities could be discovered between the registers.

The fractal analysis of the curves showed that all the paths are fractals of the same dimension within the experimental range of error, and somehow equal 1.5.
