LOOKING AHEAD
Mimmo Guaragna, Napoli, ItaliaI have seen others bear so much suffering - and so much hope. I have seen oth‚rs going ahead without feeling tired. It is difficult to be hopeful in Italy today. It is not violence that shocks us, as that can be opposed. It is apathy, which makes you feel isolated, powerless and defeated. The Lord will help us to take home the hope we have received from our sisters and brothers from Kairos in Strasbourg. Kairos must go where the Mafia kills, where power is corruptible and where people do not want to see or feel. Kairos will live on.
