This Oscar Wilde’s play has effective and meditating message even for the adults. This sadly, beautiful tale about the Happy Prince and his loving swallow is a popular and unforgattable reading of generations.
The story becomes alive in a sculptor’s studio at Christmas – when one is very happy or very lonely.
You can see it in the treatment of Kolibri Theatre, Budapest. This is a one-man theatre, where all the characters are paper Christmas ornaments of Victoria Age and these make the tale special.
The play can be seen in English too, and can be invited for festivals.
