Changes to
Supported Platforms
FreeBSD Supported
FreeBSD was provided previously as a 2.2 beta release.
Now, with SOLID Server 2.3, FreeBSD 2.2.2 becomes a
supported platform.
Multithreaded Linux Supported
Multithreaded Linux was provided previously as a 2.3
beta release.
Now, with SOLID Server 2.3 production release, it becomes
a supported platform.
Using the multithreading features of SOLID Server
requires the Linux system to support multiple threads,
i.e. Linux kernel is v.2.0 or later and GNU C library
v.2.0 (A.K.A. libc6 on Linux) or later and POSIX threads
library are installed and properly configured.
