SOLID Server offers high performance within SQL standards. It is easy to embed in your applications. It is fully scaleable from small mobile devices to heavy-weight multiprocessing environments. It provides the features you would expect to find in an industrial-strength database server. Multithread architecture, stored procedures, row level transaction management - you name it.

This Technical Description is designed to acquaint you with the architecture and key features of SOLID Server. It also provides information on the technical innovations and business issues that should be considered when selecting database technology for new solutions.

The first section is useful reading for anyone interested in modern data management. The next sections contain more technical material recommended for application programmers and system administrators as well as for IT managers.
