Vision and Atavism /Vision and Atavism/
Cameras using special visual mechanism are mostly based on the so-called competitive industrial activities such as space research, medical science or military technology. Certain proportions of these researches support the perfection of the Third Eye, namely the pocket camera. It is a huge accomplishment to have a functional interpretation of the less widespread parts of developments. |

There is a competition in the world – the possession of some exceptional optical abilities in the control and occupation of territories can turn out as a key of development. The special nature of vision on the basis of the senses and recognition goes without aspects, which operation was already explored by sciences and can simulate or reproduce it. Visible reality and the parallel, hidden reality, the extended colour reception, the image of heat production, night orientation, high resolution image, high speed video recording, advanced space reception, movement-oriented perception and the passage within the natural phenomenon of cognitive vision can profit development and inspiration. Moving on the margins of image processing, the fabulous destiny of Amélie comes to light and we can have the feeling that the sophisticated ability of our ancestors is dormant in us. Helen Keller, who was relieved from her senses and communication in her youth, introduces the example in the technology-based world that fantasy can not be delimited in the creation of advanced forms of existence by the so-called primitive expression devices. Parametered recording techniques (time-offset, draw apart recording) can support not only the equal opportunity of disabled people, but can help artists who work with technical media. The workshop that will be organised in the last week of April is going to make available the mentioned techniques. On the other hand, through presentations, symposiums and mutual work, we would like to give further bases about the role of national and international contemporary media art from the aspect of multimedia usage of industrial imaging techniques Hattyúhaz Galéria, Pécs, 2010. ápr.26-maj.2
