LIGHT | IMAGE | ILLUSION – Public Lectures
Two public lectures on the subject will be held at the Goethe-Institut in Athens
by Richard L. Gregory, writer of the famous book, Eye and Brain, with the title
“How Illusions Throw Light on Perception”
on Wednesday, 18. 05. 05. at 8.00 pm,
and
by Werner Nekes, collector and specialist on pre-cinematography, with the title
“What happens between the images” (lecture and film ULIISSES)
on Thursday, 19. 05. 05., at 8.00 pm.

LIGHT | IMAGE | ILLUSION – Educational programme
An educational programme in three parts;
1 A workshop on the subject of the 2nd Academy, by the Greek artists Petros Athanassiou for locals inhabitants as well as for visitors.
2. An introduction to the illusion of the moving image, by Greek artist and lecturer Christina dePian.
3. A guided tour through the exhibitions and an exhibition reader, carried out by Greek art educator Ourania Kouvou.
