The C3 Collection contains
media artworks that have been realised with the collaboration of C3,
on-line artworks,
works produced within the framework of the C3 residency programme and the
Studio Grant, as well as the documentation of projects realised by C3. Also featuring in the compilation are those artworks produced by
C3 which were presented to the public in larger exhibitions or in the C3 Gallery, for which their Internet appearance was not their
primary medium.
From the more than one hundred projects produced since
1996, we selected the most significant ones, which in some cases could conceivably be presented again, or whose realisation was essential
from the perspective of the study of the development of media art. Currently there are almost seventy artworks of more than forty artists
in the Collection, which are accessible and provide information regarding the history of media art to the interested audience, Hungarian
and international researchers and curators.
